Seller FAQs Entering Items Item Prep + Drop Off Commission The Crew Entering Items What can I sell at Sweet Repeats? Almost anything! See our list of Accepted Items . Pay close attention to quality, and only enter your items that are free of stains, excessive wear, odors, and broken or missing parts. How should I price my items? The MOST important question! Use our tried and true simple pricing method: Price EUC and GUC items at 75% off retail, price NWT items at 50% off retail, and check the Discount box on all items for half off day. It's true! Items marked Discount sell faster (even on full price days) than non-discounted items. More pricing tips here . How do I enter items? How many can I enter? Check your Seller Cheat Sheet in your registration email for a quick tutorial. We currently have no overall quantity limits. Sell it ALL! What seasons are accepted? For spring in-person sales, we accept warm weather clothing (shorts, swim, Easter, etc.). For fall and virtual sales, we accept all seasons. How does Discounting work? All items marked Discount are 50% off on the Sunday of each sale. For in-person sales, all unsold items that aren't claimed during Monday pick up go to 75% off on Monday night. How does Donating work? Any items not claimed during post-sale pick up hours will be sold on 75% off night. Remaining items are donated promptly to one of our local charity partners. Sweet Repeats does not retain any unsold inventory. Can I transfer unsold items from a previous sale? Previously unsold items have a low sell-rate. To bring an item again, triple-check the item's quality, re-enter with a lower price and print a new tag. For virtual sales, you may transfer items from a previous sale. Do I have to be present to sell my stuff? No. Your items are dropped off, and we do the work for you! Monitor your daily sales in your Seller account. (But you'll definitely want to come shop during your early access time !) Are there any hidden fees? Absolutely not! We do not charge any registration or seller fees at all. Item Prep + Drop Off How do I attach my tags? For in-person sales, follow these instructions . For virtual sales, follow these instructions . My printer's down. What can I do?! Consider having a friend print for you, or visit a local office supply store for super reasonable printing services. Do I need a specific type of hangers for in-person sales? Adult hangers (wire preferred) are best for all sizes but aren't mandatory. Wire hangers maximize space on our racks, and adult size works great for all clothing–even infant. Do I get my hangers back after the sale? No, each hanger is sold with the item. Cheap hangers can be found at Walmart, Target, or local dollar stores. It's also a great idea to save up hangers from previous Sweet Repeats sales or new clothing purchases. Do I need an appointment to drop off my items? No, come anytime during designated drop off times. Be aware that evening hours are busier, but we keep drop off flowing as smoothly as possible. I have a lot of stuff! Can I make two trips to drop off? Of course, you can make multiple trips if necessary. Can someone else drop off my items for me? Yes, that is perfectly fine. Can someone else pick up my unsold items that I don't want to donate? Sure, they'll need to provide your four-digit Seller # when they arrive. What if I don't pick up my unsold items? Any items not claimed during post-sale pick up hours will be sold on 75% off night. Remaining items are donated promptly to one of our local charity partners. Sweet Repeats does not retain any unsold inventory. Commission How much do I earn? All sellers keep 60–80% of sales! See your Seller Cheat Sheet in your registration email for more details. How will I get paid? All sellers are paid by eCheck within 7 business days of the close of each event. Print your check from home or choose from other electronic deposit options. Make sure you have provided the correct email address in your seller account . How do I use shopping credit? You may charge your purchases against your upcoming commission. It's a great way to stretch your shopping budget! See your Cheat Sheet in your registration email for details. The Crew Are Crew shifts required for sellers? No. The Crew is optional. Why should I work on The Crew? Crew Members shop before other sellers AND earn extra cash! See your Seller Cheat Sheet in your registration email for more details. How do I apply for The Crew? See your Seller Cheat Sheet in your registration email to apply, and we'll email you further instructions. What can I expect during my shifts? Shifts may involve event setup, stocking, shopper greeting, checkout, sorting or breakdown. Wear comfy shoes! Clock in and out of your shift from your phone at the sale location. Water and a light snack are provided. Can I stock my own items during my shift? You may bring your items that day, but you must stock them before or after after your shift. Can I shop during my shift? No, please refrain from shopping during Crew shifts. Be sure to schedule shifts around your shopping times . Can I have someone work a Crew shift in my place? PRICING Easy Pricing Tips Want to sell it ALL?! Price it right! For best success: Price gently used items at 75% off retail and brand new items (with new tags still attached) at 50% off retail. Price items to sell before discount days. In other words, don't price high in hopes of selling at a discount. Choose Discount and Donate if you don't want to see an item again! More great tips: Sets sell BEST! When possible, pair clothing items, books and other items, together in sets, even if they're different brands! BUNDLE! Utilize our minimum price of $3 by bundling small inexpensive items together. Price items at an amount that YOU would consider a great deal that you'd want to brag about to your friends!
